What does your Design tell me?

When designing pieces for an audience viewing, it is important to make sure it is appealing to the eye. It needs to stand old, neat and creative. Here are two pieces of work that has some successful designs but also something they could improve on.
This magazine layout is bold, yet elegant. The layout on the first page is tw0-column. The three text boxes are aligned left. The title seemed to seem to have a creative alignment. The font style fits perfectly with the message and story that is being told. The font size was used as guidelines. When bigger font is used, the eye automatically goes it, which would be the most important literature. For example, the title in this layout. The different font sizes allow the reader to understand what to read next. The font choice goes hand and hand with the photography. It’s chic. There’s soft and edginess to the font; the curl at the end of the s and the tails on the ends of letters with vertical line. The font resembles the softness of her face and background. The edginess comes from her makeup and pose. Things that could have been done different is the room first text box at the top and the text box at the bottom. There is a lot of show that could have been used and the words would not look so crammed. The title could as well have been smaller. Her name should be more noticeable, even a little bigger.
Christina Jones resume is transparent and unique. This is a two-column resume. Her name is a great size. It stands out and its bold. The placing on the contact information is creative and visible. The choice works well with this design. The left side consists of the second information and the right side has the primary. The titles are large enough to see and the font is effortless to read. Using one font family with three different font styles, help differentiate what is the important information. The pattern used on the text are aligned left and right with a vertical line splitting the two. The text takes up a great amount of the paper and also leaves room so it’s not cluster. The spacing for each per section is accurately space where there is no too much or too little room. Some things to correct would be the spacing between the letters in the titles. Some of the titles of more space between the letters than the others. The title with the letters closer together is better for this type of resume. Moving the design over a little to its right and down a bit would make it look center. Switching Professional Activities with Education looks better going off of one side being primary and the other secondary; but due to space, it cannot fit.
Both these pieces were of their own. They told stories and made a statement before evening reading the text. They were organized which made it easy to follow. They were also easy to read. There was something that needed fixing that could improve the appearance. For the most part, the deliveries were executed.
